Born
in Dagenham may 1953, started playing at 13 after he saw Joe brown and
Hank Marvin and
thought that looks a cool thing to do. First band was at 15 and called the
purple circle and the name was later changed to dazed and confused after
hearing the first Led Zeppelin album. Influences were Eric Clapton, Rory
Gallagher and Paul Kossoff
Except
at home didn't play again until his 50th birthday party when, encouraged
by his wife, he put together a band with some mates, called the
Shambollics (Sham left). This was later changed to Split Decision and they
spent a couple of years doing a few gigs and charity nights mostly unpaid.
Also played in a duo called Deuce. He has an unhealthy obsession with
guitars, which he changes at very regular intervals.
Joined
Still Burning Flame April 2009.
